The Day You Were Gone is my graduation film, created by a team of six, where I served as Lead FX, CFX, and Lead Rig. I developed stylized cotton-based FX and fully handled the brother character in CFX. This project sharpened my skills in teamwork, autonomy, and FX pipeline, all with one goal: bringing my director’s vision to life.
At Trimaran VFX, I developed their Houdini pipeline and simulated a crowd of 1,500 characters with dynamic clothing without prior experience in crowd simulation, 3ds Max, or V-Ray, and without a Houdini supervisor. I also created smoke FX and environment reconstruction. I tackled these challenges independently and continued working remotely as a freelancer while completing my studies.
Here is my latest personal project, where I developed all the elements except for some props created by Salomé Cognon. I handled every stage of production to further refine my skills, particularly in muscle FX. The concept is a scene in which an FX takes place. For now, there is only one season, but more may come.
This project was my first personal project and it was created during my fourth year of studies. Its goal was to understand how to integrate different special effects to create a credible result. I handled all the elements in the scene, except for the rocks, and took care of every stage of production.
This is my first personal project, completed in 2022 during my third year of studies. I handled all aspects of the project which was completed, and it was a very educational experience. Thank you for watching.
